On Thursday we used the hospitality of Morse Institute Library and organized a fun drawing event on the library lawn, taking part of Natick Nights weekly event. People were participating with pleasure and were amazing, friendly and artistic! You can see the story in pictures at KOUZZA Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Kouzza-1654308768127467/

Non-dominant hand drawing is a really good exercise for both beginning and advanced artists. It helps you to get over the fear of not making a “perfect” drawing, breaks the routine, improves your hand-eye coordination and activates the right brain hemisphere (at least if you are drawing with your left hand). I do advise to practice it regularly. If you devote some time to drawing with the wrong hand (couple of days, one week, two weeks) and then return to the dominant one you may notice that something has changed - you process the information differently, use different strategy in defining the shape, feel more relaxed and so on and so forth... Try it, see what happens to you :)

Have fun! See you next Thursday!
